Can I bring a drone to Argentina?

Yes. Drones under 250g for recreational use have minimal restrictions. All drones must be registered with ANAC Argentina and cannot exceed 400 feet altitude.

  • Registration with ANAC Argentina required for drones over 250g

  • Recreational drones under 250g exempt from registration but follow no-fly rules

  • No-fly zones: airports (5km), Buenos Aires city center, government buildings, crowds

  • Maximum altitude 120m (400 feet), must maintain visual line of sight

  • Insurance recommended for all drones

  • Flying over residential areas prohibited without permits
