Can I enter Canada with just my US driver's license for a match?

No, a valid passport is required for US citizens to enter Canada. Driver's license is not accepted for international border crossing.

  • US passport book (not card) is the standard document for air travel to Canada

  • US passport card is valid for land and sea entry only

  • Enhanced Driver's License (EDL) is accepted for land/sea entry but not available in all states (only MI, MN, NY, VT, WA)

  • NEXUS card is accepted for expedited entry

  • Match tickets do NOT guarantee entry, border officers have final authority
