Can I bring a breast pump on a plane?

Yes, breast pumps are permitted and are considered medical devices. They can be brought in addition to your personal item and do not count against your carry-on allowance.

  • Breast pumps are exempt from the standard carry-on limit and are allowed as an extra item .

  • Breast milk is also exempt from the 3-1-1 liquids rule and can be brought in larger quantities .
