Can I bring a drone to Morocco?

No. Drones are effectively prohibited for tourists. Entry or use of drones requires prior authorization from competent authorities. Without an official permit, the device may be seized or confiscated at customs.

  • Tourists have reported drones confiscated at border crossings (Tanger Med) 

  • Maximum penalty for illegal drone use is 10 years in prison 

  • Declare drones upon arrival to avoid legal issues
