Can I bring a drone to Kenya?
Yes, but requires a UAS import permit from Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) prior to importation. Drones are restricted items and failure to declare results in forfeiture.
Failure to declare goods or giving false information is punishable by law including forfeiture of subject goods
KCAA classifies drone operations into VLOS, eVLOS, and BVLOS categories
Apply for permits well in advance of travel
