Can I travel to Mexico with a valid US visa?

Yes, US visa holders from many countries do not need a separate Mexican visa. Check your nationality against Mexico's visa exemption list.

  • Holders of valid US visa (any type) can enter Mexico for tourism without Mexican visa

  • Valid US permanent residency (Green Card) also grants visa-free access

  • Maximum stay: 180 days (granted at discretion of Mexican immigration)

  • Bring printed copy of your US visa and passport

  • This exemption does not apply to all nationalities, check before traveling
