Can I bring a wheelchair battery on a plane?
Yes. Airlines must accept battery-powered wheelchairs as checked baggage. Non-spillable batteries can stay attached. Spillable batteries may need removal.

Damaged or leaking batteries will not be transported
Bring spare wheelchair batteries in carry-on (must follow lithium battery rules)
